Description:
In this three-day hands-on course students learn about the System Center Family of Products including System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Data Protection Manager (DPM), System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), System Center Service Manager (SCSM), System Center 2012 Orchestrator (SCO) and System Center App Controller 2012. The course begins with an overview of System Center 2012, a description of each of its products and their respective goals, as well as an explanation of how each product fits into the broader System Center product suite. It then progresses to a discussion of each product's system requirements and installation. Each product will be installed and a brief walkthrough of the product will be given.

Prerequisites: Student should have experience or training in the following areas before taking this class - Networking fundamentals, Domain Name System (DNS), familiarity with Active Directory, and Windows Server management.
