This three-day hands-on course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, deploy, and maintain System Center Orchestrator 2012 (SCO). The course begins with an overview of Orchestrator 2012 and its goals, as well as an explanation of how it fits into the broader System Center product suite. It then introduces each of Orchestrator 2012's most important feature sets, addressing issues ranging from Runbook automation to error-handling and log-monitoring. Topics also include planning, design, and implementation. In addition, this course includes automation of processes designed to address various scenarios which may be commonly encountered in the today's computing environments. Students will learn the skills necessary to manage SCO for maximum business benefit.
Prerequisites: Student should have experience or training in the following areas before taking this class: Networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Windows Server management, scripting techniques, and familiarity with data center management processes.
