SUMMER BOOT CAMP FOR TEENS!
The Workforce Center offers hands-on instruction in both creative and practical computer skills for tech-savvy students. Learning to program effectively requires understanding of programming concepts as well as language-specific syntax and data handling knowledge. This beginner through intermediate level course bridges the gap: first covering object-oriented programming (ODP) concepts common to modern programming languages and then building on that foundation with a plunge into programming with C# and Visual Studio. Students coding skills will be polished through hands-on exercises, mini-games and mini-applications. Students will take home their programs and their programming basics.
Prerequisite: Students should be experienced computer users.??
The Workforce Center is an official Microsoft learning partner, and their instructors are Microsoft certified trainers.
Grades: Students entering Grades 10-13
